OPENSCENE

Timeline editing

Importing media, arranging clips, keyframes and transitions, and the default keyboard shortcuts.

The timeline holds video and audio tracks. Import local media into the project, drop it on a track, and arrange it with the mouse or the keyboard.

Clip operations

  • Trim, split, move, duplicate, and delete clips
  • Undo and redo across the editing session
  • Adjust opacity, scale, position, rotation, and volume in the inspector
  • Add keyframes for animated properties and transitions between clips
  • Set a per-track audio mix
  • Review with the playhead in the Program Monitor

Default shortcuts

Shown with the macOS modifier; on Windows and Linux this is Ctrl. Every binding is remappable in Settings → Shortcuts, and conflicting chords are rejected rather than silently overwritten.
